What your MOT appointment covers
Your test checks the minimum legal standards for safety and environmental performance, not just a quick glance around the vehicle. We inspect items such as suspension, seatbelts, wipers, exhaust emissions, bodywork and vehicle identification with the right class in mind. Class 3 covers vehicles with fewer than four wheels and a design speed above 15 mph.
Class 4 applies to cars, taxis, ambulances and light vans with up to eight passenger seats, while Class 7 is for goods vehicles from 3,000 kg to 3,500 kg. Because MOTs must be booked in advance, we arrange convenient appointment times that complement your annual Land Rover servicing and help you plan your day without the usual scramble.
